This is a review of the Blackberry Bold 9700 cell phone.
A couple of years back I have decided to switch from T-Mobile to AT&T. I do not exactly remember why I made that change between cell phone providers, but I do remember that as soon as I switched to AT&T I bought my first smartphone. I purchased a beautiful Blackberry Bold 9700. At that time this was the newest model of Blackberry phone available.
At first I was relatively happy with my purchase. The phone seemed light, compact, and easy to use. I loved the cool keyboard, the variety of applications, and the modern look. However, some weeks after my purchase I began having problems with the phone. I quickly realized that it was not as easy to use it as it seemed at first. I experienced a lot of problems opening some internet pages and also was not able to use email comfortably. I guess a part of the problem was that the screen is just too small so you can never really see the full picture. The other issue is that the phone may not be 4G compatible so some websites just do not open. Another problem is that the phone freezes when it is having trouble opening a webpages. Sometimes you need to press two button together just to open a search result from Google. The fastest way to unfreeze the phone is to take out the battery and put it back in. That basically reboots the cell phone. It works much like my old Dell laptop. Since purchasing this phone about two years ago, I have had to exchange it twice due to technical issues and of course my information was lost.
Even though I spent money on cell phone covers, my Blackberry Bold 9700 still came apart at the back after I dropped it a few times. Now I am in the market for a new phone and I am looking to sell my Blackberry Bold 9700. I guess I will probably get around fifty dollars. It is better than nothing considering that this is the price for a new phone with AT&T. Obviously I will have to sign a two year contract again.
I have considered getting an i-phone or a similar touch screen type of phone. However, I love having a keyboard too much and I hate being taken to random pages if I accidentally press the wrong window on the screen. I am a grown up and do not have time for such nonsense. Well, I guess I will be buying the newest version of Blackberry smartphone coming after the twenty second of August. It may not be the best, but I guess it is the best alternative with AT&T.
