A Simple Formula For Great Health



Most people could stand to improve their health, especially their eating habits. Here is what I did to vastly improve my health, lose weight, and correct physical problems.
1. I first began going to a qualified chiropractor who practiced a well-rounded program of adjustments, healthy eating, exercise, detoxification, and healthy thinking. Your spinal alignment is vitally important. Nerves and communication paths often get pinched through misalignment of the spinal column. Thus, information is squeezed or closed altogether in communicating to the brain. The vital organs are affected and we become sick or incapacitated. This was my case.
2. Secondly, I got off of all dairy, wheat or grains, and especially sugar. At first, on the advanced diet, I excluded even fruits or good grains that turned to sugar in the digestive process. A month or so later I began to include fruits, Ezekiel Bread, rice, etc. that would turn to sugar in the process. This was somewhat difficult at first because I LOVE breads, dairy, and sweets!
3. Thirdly, with my "Vitamix" power mixer I made nutritious "smoothies" that provided so much more than I was getting before in a delightful drink. I will give you my somewhat "homespun" recipe in a moment.
4. Fourthly, I continued my quality vitamin routine.
5. Fifthly, I began to do a few simply stretching exercises (you can get a basic Yoga exercise video at Walmart) and isometric tension exercises (this is just pressing one muscle group against another as hard as you can for fifteen seconds and resting fifteen seconds).
For my daily "power smoothie" I would include: a can of coconut milk, half of a raw avocado, pom juice, flax seed oil, carrots, spinach, kayle, Granny Smith apple, protein powder, frozen blueberries, frozen strawberries, and a banana. This would make four or five tall glasses of smoothie for the day. I would supplement with good nuts as well. This was not the only source of food but it was the main outlay in the beginning.
One goal is to increase good fat and decrease sugar, training your body to burn fat instead of sugar. Most foods produced today contain huge amounts of sugar or items that turn to sugar in our system. The idea is to get us hooked on the product by the subtle infusion of sugars.
The result was that my stomach problems cleared up in a week. No more antacids or Zantac. My enlarging prostrate decreased. My bowel movements were regular and smooth and I experienced no indigestion. I got off of all gastro medication, pain medication, and sleep medication, some of which, I had been on for over ten years. I lost twenty-five unnecessary pounds. My complexion improved as did my clarity of thought.
This is a simple formula but it works and I am healthier for it and you will be too. I would recommend it for anyone. There is much more education that needs to be presented in regard to processed foods, the conspiracy that is out there against good health, good fats, raw fruits and vegetables, etc. But this is a start and a good one.
